a scone aint a bun...................was that scone or scone m'lud.....


others are included in the poll that aint " buns ",!! and the poll was about BUNS not cakes.........therefore if cakes are included why not biscuits......

and a choccy hob nob is more like a cake..its got chocolate on top........

oxford english dictionary definition:

1. a. A sort of cake: the use differs greatly in different
localities, but the word generally denotes in England a sweet
cake (usually round) not too large to be held in the hand while being eaten.

so i guess we cant accept cakes.

Surely we should have a class for "buns" and a lesser class for "cakes"?

And the Choux Bun, since it's not a UK bun, should not be worth any points.

But if there aren't enough buns can I use a cake in the buns class?
