Help! DS sport classic with no lamda.

Hello All,

I have a Paul Smart and have just got around to tying to sort the backfiring. It's running the DPECU an dtwin Termi's and appears to have the lamda removed.

Is this something common? Can I just re-plumb one back in? I intend to use the Fat DUC controller.

Cheers!

I don't think so, I thought the DP ECUs ran open loop
Be worth checking for leaks on the exhaust joints if it's back firing

Just checked the ECU dump that I have and it does indeed disable the Lambda sensor if you use the DP ECU.

You will need to get the fuel ratio adjusted through the Ducati Diagnostic (DDS) system (plug-in at the dealers, or use aftermarket software such as JPDiag), as a FatDuc won't work with this ECU.

Get it set up properly with the DP ecu in place first. Fat DUC aren't worth the trouble and as the O2 sensor is disabled already, you'd be wasting your money
