Martin I thought you mentioned something about a new track bike not a road bike

I'd forgotten how heavy they look in road trim, my 600 was stripped of all its road gear so it could go racing on the roads, a few Irish Road races and a Manx GP later I took it in a deal on my IOM TT R6, then later swapped the K2 for my 750SSie Minitwin and the 600SS that Andy Shepard had off me for DD.

I've got options now - I think the 996 will end up as a track bike, given I've already fitted the necessary scuffs. So this is just for some fun on the roads, but if I do manage to find all the bits to put the 996 back on the road, then maybe this will become a track bike

Cheers
Martin

Nice one.
Probabably the only bike i would consider if i had to go to the darkside, or an early R1.

Had the srad 600 then the k1 600 always looked at the 750 and wanted that instead.
