swingarm removal idea 748/9**

Is it possible to remove the swingarm without fully removing the engine from the frame (998). I know of the prising open the frame method but not to keen on that one and have had an idea. Was thinking if i remove the rear engine bolt, loosen the front one so the back of then engine swings downwards would it leave enough clearence to get the swingarm out.

Hello Mello Yellow

Hello ste996

That's prity much what I did to get the swinging arm on,
lossen the two engine bolts, to allow the engine to drop
down just a touch. I also had the bike attached to a pulley
from the garage roof as it helped to lift the frame, and steady the bike.

Dont forget to grease the swinging arm bolt
on installation. Good luck.
