996 clutch plates

Has anybody fitted a set of ST4S aluminium clutch plates in the std basket on a 2000 model 996 bip?

Yes Nigel, I've done this for a few customers.
The ST plates, although alloy, have a far thicker tang than the steel ones so wear is comparable to standard.
Worth while alternative to "performance" alloy clutch packs.
