Day of Champs was great day out last year topped off with DUK meet the riders in the evening.

After the DUK thing we managed to hang around in the Paddock.

Jasper was like a dog with two tails as he managed to get Gibernau, Biaggi, and Rossi's signature.

Some say lightening doesn't strike twice but that evening it struck three times!!!

Ray.

I did it last year. Good day out. Track was wet with a few bikes being dropped. Too many on track. You meet at Coalville and get to chat with several BSB riders. Did it rain?

I'll probably give Donny a miss this year. Crap facilities. Went to Catalunia GP and it was awesome and much better organised.

adam go to the day of champions as you wont get into the paddock on race weekend unless you know someone of importance there like me. i'll have my usual paddock access pass but their rare as f*ck, unavalaible to the public unless you have big contacts.

2 years ago i got bayliss to sign my cap for me as he was going to the ducati hospitality ofr brekkie, last year was gibernau's birthday and i saw him blow out the candles on his cake

btw my minichamps are going up this year too, my leon haslam nsr500 has his sig on one side and ron's sig on the other, looks bloody awesome

bsb is a better bet for paddock access but i doubt you'll get the signature you want

possibly a stupid question but what would be the best thing to do around the GP for taking clients to?

I'm not after value for money as the expense budget is decent, but need something that will be fairly memorable.

Ive sent for my weekend tickets via the club. My main interest is the photo's i might get. Can anyone say how close the club area is to the track & on whot part of the track.
I'm a new member & have been having a laugh at some of the mail replies.
On the subject of getting signatures, I was at the German touring round at Donnington last year & stumbled into the Mclaren area & nearly knocked Jean Alesi off his feet! there I stood with a burger in each hand triying to find something for him to sign, all I could find was a £20 which with a smile on his face he signed. Expensive autoghragh but whot a nice guy.
Looking forward to seeing some of you ar the GP. Good luck with the signatures.
