Smile I am Looking for a 998R

After a long break from bikes after getting run over on my last Ktm I am now possibly in the market for a clean 998R , it needs to be std or have all std parts included , not to worried about mileage but under 10k would be better !

No mad silly 20grand bikes please as I don't think in this climate any 998R is worth that maybe a few years ago but not now !

Email me any info or contact me via DSC.

Ferris_trevor@hotmail.com

Many thanks for any help.

When I've been keeping tabs on bikes for sale you can go for months without any coming up for sale.

Only 63 998r on DVLA records in 2002.

End of 2011 56 on DVLA records, 31 of which were sorned.

A lot of garage queens/ornaments out there.

This particular 998r is a particularly well travelled example

There have been a few for sale recently, e-bay, dealers etc.

Most looked minty mint and the sellers wanted top ££££, one with a bit of a chequered history.

If I see any for sale over the next few weeks, I'll post up the details and what I know about it.

Then again the Corse C/R gearbox makes it a pig to ride on the road. And since the engine was done it never wants to start properly using either the standard ECU or the FIM one. But now starts first touch of the button on the Nemesis.
So at the moment its waiting for me to get around to removing the MT940 dash and fitting a 1098 Dash and harness and a type 1 Nemesis along with upgrading to Radial AP Calipers.

I noticed Route 65 Motorcycles in Yorkshire have a 998R in for sale
