998 Body - any differences to 748/9*6?

Hi folks, apart from the side panels different vents, is there any reason aftermarket bodywork from the 748/9*6 wont fit right? One of the ads I have seen mentions small air tube holes suitable for 748 / 916. Is this a major issue or will the 998 tubes not fit?

Many thanks. Jack

Most of the issues I have are to do with the exhaust fouling on the lower fairing panels.
I have a 998Bip engine running early 748/916/996 bodywork and my 998R (Deep sump) has a later 748S fairing and both have had to be trimmed to keep them off the exhaust
Otherwise everything else fitted
