Termi's and Ecu ?

Hi, i have a Termi exhaust on the 999s inc the pipes, does it need an ECU remap ?

How would i know it has been done ?

The front (long) pipe is 54mm O/D and the short (rear) pipe is 45mm O/D.

(I have the standard exhaust aswell with the standard pipe, only one pipe though, the long one, is this normal ? )

cheers

Andy

Is the bike running rough then? Some of them run fine on the std ecu.(dont ask me why!)I think the ecu has to be removed to check the numbers on the sticker.Be warned tho,if you take it off yerself, yer need to get it to a dealer or someone with a Mathesis tester to reset the TPS.(Has to be done everytime the ecu is disturbed.)

Yep,perfectly normal.Rear short pipe is the same for std or asymmetric systems. The std long pipe should have a bulge in it about halfway down for the catalyser.

Thanks very much for your help, bike is running just perfect, no flat spots etc, power gets delivered just fine, fuel consumption seems ok too.

I won't mess with it, i'll just leave well alone.

many thanks

Andy
