Is a Radial master NEEDED to get the best from radial calipers?

Couldnt turn down an offer on some Showa radial forks with 100mm Brembo, 4-pad radial calipers. These came from a 2005 Aprilia RSV-R.

I can already fit the kit to the bike I'm thinking of as a set of 2.5mm disc spacer rings have just arrived but I'm guessing that a radial master is probably needed to get the best?

Any advise appreciated.

Cheers.
