sorry the road bike does have the top exhaust but doesn't have the side ones

Still not much good if you have a bip
maybe they could do a upgrade kit ?

Would be a good to have done it that way for the mono and done it the 916 way for the bip. A superbike aint a superbike when its carrying pillion.

i dont dislike the new bike i just dont think it is a leap forward like it should be apart from the engine that is i bought my 999 because i thought it was a completly new and different bike from my 748 and it was i just dont think the 1098 is. think the the rear end on me 999 is like nothing else out there twin pipes (r1 zx10 bmw)

all personal i know but the 749/999 rear as in your pic is far better the the 1098 and unique imho.

Yep,after reading all the b.s in MCN,I went out in the garage to look at my 'ugly','unloved' and now obsolete bike.....
