1st Hello 2nd I'm looking to build a 583DD

Hey Hi Hello,
I'm new to all this but am allready in the grip of an what can only be described as an obsession... passed test end of aug and bought an 05 1200 mile 749s... took it to Spain a week later... now showing 5222 since i got back from cadwell today(REAL GOOD BUNCHA PEOPLE)... and now i'm looking to build an entry level 583DD, i've reasond with myself it'd be the best way of enjoying track riding without worrying about binning it to much.

So i guess im looking for a cheap mechanically sound ss

not scared of a bit of project

£1000-1500

Any help greatly appreciated

Welcome to the board Chris.
It was good talking to you on sunday, I hope your journey back home was less eventful than the trip up to cadwell !
Keep in touch !
If you have any more questions - there are loads of good people here that will let you know their experience, and some of us will even promise not to laugh if you have any questions that you want to ask but think you _should_ know the answer !
Its better to ask and be sure than go off in the wrong direction

Here are a few websites you will find useful for starters, but there are more !

Thanks for the welcome... had a look at your new purchase on Gribs site, looked like a well preped bike for the money, i even liked the flowers but dont tell no one.

Hopefully see you next year then!

Looks like i've got a lot to organise ...
