Well fingers crossed, we're going to get to race this weekend. Monty and I will be racing the 'Wee Beastie' at Donington on Sunday, practice from 0900, racing from 1100.
We abandoned Cadwell in the fog and never got to Mallory because I had to work, so we've decided to do a Donny club round to at least get ourselves on a circuit before the summer is over. It seems so long ago since we raced, October 16 at Donny as it happens, so we can't wait to get back out there, especially as I've read every word of the Desmo Due reports.
Monty has been busy fettling with the engine over the winter and we've only tried the bike once at Cadwell to run it in, so we really haven't opened it up fully yet, plus new forks and brakes and it should feel very different, although it's so long ago and I've ridden several bikes in between, so I've no idea what to expect.
Praying for dry weather and I'm going to give it some severe berries like never before - I got the need for speed man.
Once finished at Donny, it's a hop, skip and a jump over to Cadwell on Sunday night for a No Limits trackday on Monday.
If you fancy a rideout to Donny to watch some excellent club racing, come and find us in the paddock, black and yellow TZ250, number 89, I'll be in my No Limits leathers.
