Too right... Started with Aria, found things like the air vents on the visor and the mouth piece becoming un workable.. later found out that using universal cleaner to be the problem. The main problem was they just destroy the plastics...
Then changed to Soumy, was a sound helmet, but after changing back to the Edwards Arai it wasn't anywhere near the standard in regard to noise, plus since only using water to clean, nothing seems to be a problem anymore.... plus the inners are fully removable for washing which is a big bonus... Shoei, suomy, OGK, Nitro are all up and coming.. but as i always say "How much do you value your head"???
See what im saying about "how much is your head worth"??? Nat was willing to wear a Gay pink Arai to look good and still came out on top.... Soz Nat but that is the Gayist Arai EVER.....
Bright pink - and still the gimp in the mondeo didnt see me !
Anyway - you shouldnt be taking the urine soft lad..remember I might be coming to your new years eve party tommorrow and might wonder in the garage to put some sugar in your fuel tank...:P:P
I crashed at Druids this year and knocked myself out when I hit my head on the ground. This is first time I had used my Arai Quantum to break my fall, Its four years old and although I had a headache for three days I didn't even have a bump on my head, I wouldn't buy anything else, Im not saying the other are any worse but I was surprised of the impact and the way the Arai took the impact. Thats my recommendation anyway. Happy New Year one and all, Scott 748 ARSE
I crash more than most and although it gets expensive destroying Arai's they are always worth it.
Arai put a lot into the design and production of RACE helmets, they dont pretent to be anything but race helmets, which is why they are noisy, always where earplugs!
but, fit is everything and they cant fit everyone!
looking forward to trying my new one out this season.
