Thumbs down Possible Multistrimmer Frame failure
Just seen this on Multistrada.net..... not sure how genuine it is but maybe worth a check for those with an early multi?

'Just got back from a short ride. Pulled into the garage and couldn't help but notice that my frame had snapped on both sides from just before the rear seat back!!!!
The whole back end was just hanging there by the exhaust pipe only and was flopping around!!
I am horrified!! If my wife was on the back this could have been an very very serious situation'.

Its the rear portion of the subframe.Personally,I'd be looking at how the topbox and exhaust were mounted.Possibly a bit of stress there.
