Water in petrol tank ?

had a look in my tanks, theres 2 little holes, one has a bit of water in it, does this mean the seal has gone ?.
i heard a horror story of the inside of the tank rusting and clogging up the whole fuel system.

I think you mean the air vent holes and I would assume the water is probably condensation or similar. As long as there are no signs of major amounts of water I would guess all is OK.

I'm sure some one clever will be along soon to conform all is OK.

it's not the bit round the fillercap, if it is you have hole for the rain water to drain through so if theres water there is no problems.

Could easily be a bad batch of petrol as well, often happens when a petrol station has had a new delivery of fuel !!!
