Hi, sorry for delay - have been away for the weekend. Yes, there are some of us fortunate enough to live on the Englisg Riviera

I have my 996 serviced at MotoRapido and Steve there certainly knows his stuff and is one of the most helpful blokes on the planet. He has been doing Ducati servicing / racing / selling for years. Used to be called Dr Desmo (www.dr-desmo-ducati.co.uk) but he has recently moved premises and website (now www.motorapido.co.uk).

Unfortunately, I wouldn't class myself as a great candidate for giving advice on purchases as there is so much I don't know. However, I can tell you that Steve is as honest as the day is long and if he says it's a good one then you can bet that it is.

Hope this is of some help.

Dobber, totally agree with Gizmo, Steve is a top bloke, he services my 748. Was in there a couple of weeks ago, had a look at all the bikes - all of them looked in good order - but you have to see it for yourself.
