Tool for front spindle?

Has anyone had their front wheel out yet?If so,what tool did you use to hold the spindle? The MS forks are differant to the usual Duke forks in that there are no cut outs on the fork legs to locate a locking tool.
I bodged one up out of a bit of flattened tube last week when I fitted new tyres.I intend to keep the bike,so I need a better solution.
Time to ply marko with alcohol methinks!

Sorry, you're asking the wrong fella here KB!

I can put it on battery charge, can oil my chain, can even just about tinker with my preload settings but beyond that that's what dealers are for, no?

I'm like women car drivers when it comes to real biking bits!
