Fantastic tyres, mate. I raced on them and once warm couldn't get them to slide. A friend of mine uses them on the road on his S4R and he loves them.

If you see a used set laying around on a pair of black marchesini race wheels, I'd gladly take them of your hands.

Felix mate,
If I see a set on a pair of black marchi's they will be back at yours in no time and thats a promise.

Thanks for the feedback.
What are they like when they start to let go, quick or predictable?

Pilot Race II

I don't know what the race II's are like but I had a Race 1 hard compound on the back of my R6. It lasted about 2000miles before it was replaced due ti a puncture. I recon I'd have got about another 1000miles otherwise.
Grip was poor when tyre was cold, once warm it was awsome. It was OK in wet as long as you didn't lean over too far, (theres no treads at the sides). It did cool very quickly and anything less than hard riding won't keep temperature up.
Not really a good choice of road tyre.

Thanks for the offer Andy but I can buy a pair for the extortionate prices people are asking for rears only, false economy really.

Even the guy who is selling me these says he cant do a rear much cheaper as he then has to sell a front no one will want!

Bugger
