New s4 wont stop

My new s4 wont stop after turning off on key and kill. Well it stops and the starter motor runs. Where could the fault lie. Its was fine all day until I came home. Any advice to check it out before it goes back please.

AFAIK, the ECU controls the starter motor. If the starter motor keeps running then it may be a duff ECU. Take it back.

It is under warranty for 12 months but I dont want to damage it riding there. Any advice whether it will muck up if she starts ok.

In that case, tell them to come & collect it mate.
Could also be fixed easily on site, so if shop not too far, maybe they could send mech out?

They were very good about it. I emailed this morning before work. They phoned me politely at 9.30 and said they will pick bike up when i get home. Phoned them just now and they are on there way. Nows thats service. They know the problem as they were Ducati Maidstone 2 years ago before ashford took the franchise. Hope shes back by Saturday.
