Exhaust for 749R
Which exhaust will be best for performance? Termi 57mm? Do they exist for 749R?

Thank you,

YES - termi do a 57 mm system for the 749R - at about £2300 ex VAT.
Leo Vince also so a full system - by all accounts the LV quality is better than the Termi.

i have the 57mm Leo Vinci on my 749R and it is excellent. great sound and a significant boost to performance. it will need a power commander and seting up on a dyno. i got mine at JHP / Ducati coventry

Problem with having PC in Hong Kong. No one knows how to tune it. Given there may be one, at max two, dyno in HK. I don't know if it'll work out at all...
Do you think Mapping in the UK and HK is compatible?

You could get a map for x bike with y system, but it won't be perfect, it would be close, but not perfect as every engine/exhaust will be slightly different.

Plus maybe other factors such as octane of fuel etc maybe different in HK

I am a bit confused with the 749R / 999R Termi exhaust. Are they different? or do they share the same part no.?
thanks,
Jack

sorry to disagree but the 57mm termi comes with the ECU so they will be different. Also if your are talking about the earlier 999R that has the cast swing arm the pipe for that model will noy fit on a 749R or a 2005 999R.

I probably end up getting the 57mm Termi for about 3K usd. I have heard fitting it onto bike takes a lot of work (and patience) is it true?
thanks,
Jack

I would expect it would take a few hours, probably needs a bit of jiggling around as everyone seems to have a slightly different tolerance. Never done it on my 999, had to do it on my 996, just leave everything loose until it all fits then bolt it up.
