Bike Purchase!

TW Corse - James Thompson / Chris Wood

Have purchased and will now start prepping their desmo due racer.

'94 600ss - factory twin discs, deep blue frame and wheels (nice), adjustable showa rear. Cracking price from an unsuspecting seller! Big bore kit and more goodies to come.

Couldn't help buying new boots, suit and helmet either, this is getting out of hand, thank f*** for the credit card!

SORN'ed the Senna for the year, all or nothing on track!!!!

to be continued.......

As the bike cost only had two 0's we are well within our budget!

I needed a new suit anyway, boots/helmet to keep my wife happy.

Now when is the first DD test, (sorry), track day.

Bugger! Will everyone stop buying cheap/race ready 600s! Been scouring the salvage yards/auctions for bloody weeks, but nothing worth looking at yet.

Many congrats Chris. Twin discs a definite bonus. I'll expect to see TW Corse leading the way at Cadwell!

Cheers,

Ali

nice one Chris.

The blue frame is a nice touch - will make it easier to recognise who is lapping me.....

Before you ask Ali - no, you can't run a sleeved-down 900!

Guys,

Found it on www.ducatitrader.com. I think..... I searched the www in all engines looking for, 600 or ss or ducati. It takes time but paid off I guess.

Looking to strip it down over the next few weeks and will post photos etc...

We are definitely on a budget, the objective is light weight and as much power as possible. Hoping to fit an alloy swingarm and race bodywork.

Can't wait.......
