| I too have struggled with the insurance question.
I tried MCE and they quoted me a ridiculous £1100. They then pestered me with phone calls trying to reduce it but then only got to around £700.
Eventually, I went back to eBike with whom I already have a multibike policy. Took off one of my SORN bikes (which is in pieces for this year anyway) and replaced it with the the 1199S. The result was £180 (of which £30 is the admin cost I believe) for the remaining 11months of the policy.
Good result.
MCE have continued to call me every day despite being told I now have insurance. VERY ANNOYING. |
