748 Bip Tyres (sorry its an old chestnut)

Greetings. Very new to this.

Recently picked up a 98 748 Bip and after lots of dosh on a badly serviced motor (belts adjusted so they rubbed together and silicone in oil ways due to wrong seals and three lunched rockers) am ready to sort tyres.

Got a supercorsa on the front and a dragon evo on the rear.

Any advice re tyres? - General use all weathers some short trips could do with something that warms up quick is grippy and inspires confidence.

Pausing for breath and waiting with anticipation!

BT010 every time!

Or you could go for the 012 or the 014 but the best compromise "road" tyre would be the 010.
S'funny! Never had a problem with Bridgestones, only ever come off of bikes equipped with Michelins!

Good one,

Sizes as per the book I take it.

Supercorsa looks like it might be a bit fruity in the wet, better to ask eh!

Ta again

Any one know anything about rennsports?

Been offered a 'soft' front and 'medium' rear at good money

Rennsports great unless the road is wet

You'll find a LOT of people who rave a LOT about ultra sticky, ultra expensive semi slick imitation "race" tyres that cost a bomb and dont last long.
You'll also find them tucked up in their garage when the roads get wet'n slimy!
Fit the BT010's and you wont have too many worries in the wet or the cold and they're "good enough" for occasional track days too.

You can not beat a pair of standard Pirelli Diablo`s.

010s tend to handle very strangely after they're about 60-70% worn, 012s tend to go off a bit later, despite not strictly being dual-compound
