Changing can

Am I going to run into any problems if I change the end can but dont change the CPU or have a power commander fitted ? Basically I just want it for the sound, I've fitted a vented clutch cover and thats louder than the factory can.
I've heard just altering the CO2 levels will be enough ?

Cheers, Trickz.

Ultimately any change to the induction or exhaust system warrants a need to check the fuel trim.

You just wont get the best from the bike, as it may well develop a flat spot or worse run weak. There is the potential for damage.

Have it checked and adjusted, will cost you! Make sure that who ever does it refits the rubber gromit in the air box where the screw is to do it. mine was left out and it stalled & ran like a bag of spanners. it kept stalling at lights and was very tempremental to start. it genuinly ran better with both cats removed when the co was not adjusted. i finaly got the gromit refit and then re adjusted the co, it ran ok but i still thought it ran better though richer when untouched, with termi pipes fit .

.dont worry about the exhaust. worry about the sump plug scraping the floor without you knowing at 90mph!!!!!!!!!!!
