Worth a go & might save you many pennies..

I've just been having recall work done on my '98 ST2 at an official dealership and whilst there, Ducati UK were contacted because my regulator/rectifier was a good volt down on what it should be (tell me something I don't know).

But blow me down with a feather - Ducati UK were happy to replace the reg/rect out of their own pocket - and without any arguement. That's over £145 at their silly prices, plus free fitting.

So the message is "If you don't ask, you don't get".
If you think you've got any dodgy components that Ducati should have designed or built better, then ring them up & ask for a new one. They can only say no at the very worst, and that didn't happen to me - and don't let the age of your bike put you off because mine is ancient (9th birthday coming up).

Contact Ducati UK on 0845 1 222996. Go on - you know you want to.

Good luck,
Mike Chadwick
