So, did you use 6mm or 7mm hose? And yeah, I'll probably cable-tie it just like you did; I'm just doing it for the filter - I don't need a tank overhaul.

I suspect the 6mm hose because it was so tight I remember having to soften the ends of the hose with a hairdrier but, I still put some clips on anyways.

Frank: Where exactly did you put the filter? There seem to be three options:

* on the delivery hose of the two hoses that form a "Y"
* on the return hose of the two hoses that form a "Y"
* on the single hose segment after the "Y" join

I guess there's probably not much point for option #2, but I'm curious as to where you put yours...

LOL - ok since I dont fancy a bitch-slapping today.

I figured the most effective place was to follow the original design and place the external filter in the single delivery line OUTLET the tank (eg before the 'Y' piece).

So can you get my quick action throttle from Chris Kelly now

Cheers - Frank

Nice one Number9,

I already have my FCR's so will only need the throttle and cables so, not that much of a problem BUT for anyone wanting to buy anything expensive a Duke friend in the USA is always handy

It was bugging me that I couldnt remember which hose I used - just scouted around and found the hose is stamped!!!

1/4" = 6.4mm

Job done :-)
