Starter motor

I went for a ride out on tuesday and noticed that the monster was turning over very slowley on the starter motor.as the bike had been on charge and the indicators were working ok i didn't think it would be the battery. On closer inspection I found that the bolt holding the starter motor cable was red with rust(not a good connection) .I thought I would take it apart and clean it up,Oh no it's not that easy now the whole bolt wants to turn. the long and the short of it is ,that in there wisdom Ducati fit a rubber cover over the starter connection which is great as the water runs down the cable but cannot get out of the bottom.
Hence one rusty bolt. on the bright side all my messing about
has disturbed the rust so the starter now spins nice and fast,a big dollop of grease and leave it till the summer
