Termignoni exhaust/ecu

Hi folks quick question I have an 848 evo and wondered does one type of termignoni exhaust slip on and ecu fit all of the 848, 1098 and 1198 (ie one set fits all) as my friend has slips on from a 1098 and 1198 both with ecus but I didn't know if the ecu would work on the 848?
Any info greatly received thanks.

You wouldn't be able to use the 1098 or 1198 ECU on the 848 as they are all different. The 1098 and 1198 has different wiring to the ECU and different fuel maps. The 1098 and 848 have the same wiring but different fuel maps.

Best bet is to look on ebay for a second-hand ECU as that will work with your bike (the ECU is not coded on the 848/1098/1198 range) or get a spare ECU reflashed to the right map for what you want.

Thank you Antonye, have you the name of any companies that can reflash or remap the standard ecu? Also what roughly does it cost to remap?
So just to clarify the exhausts fit across the range?

Are the hoops for the exhaust springs in a different position for the 848 EVO?

As in, they are on the outside as opposed to the inside (as on my 1198S).

PM me if you need an ECU reflash.

Hi chris yes loops are on inside, they are the same on the 1098 must only be a 1198 thing? Would just be a matter of getting the right link pipes. My ducati dealer told me I need to bring it in for setting up if I put silencers and filter and remap ecu on it, I think they are just waffling looking money for doing nothing!!

A TPS reset is recommended after you change the ECU. With some leads off eBay you can do this yourself. Just search 'free diagnostic software' on the forum.
