Sadly it is Ducati only, if it was open to other makes I could be interested. I have several bikes that are worth a lot less than my 998 and a re meant for track use. I try to limit the race miles I put on the DD bike especially that late in the season.
I thought we were going to try and have two DSC trackdaysss per year one for Ducati bikes only and one for others, yes I know we had Snetterton but it wasn't quite your normal track day. fellow DSC members like Dallas have to miss out when its Dukes only, so there's another empty place.
But the main thing is finding the money and getting the time off work, but mainly the money, I can take my R6 and Dallas can take his ZX10R 30 miles up the road to Silverstone GP for less and with what we save on fuel we can have a lot cheaper day

I saw that one too Kev-they really are giving that one away.
I think there will be more TDO's going to the wall this year following ESS-just my opinion.

Speaking for myself only - I couldn't afford another TD this year before I binned the 999S, I certainly can't do it now!

Sorry, Monty

Well, I want the day to go ahead, so I vote for it to be Duc-Owners but not exclusively Ducs on track.
(We could always invite the DOC )

Also, I can't understand why people like flat tracks like silverstone and snetterton. You can't even spectate satisfactorily there !
I think real race tracks are about corners and hills, not flat runways.

(And I still can't get over 'only the indy circuit'. Are you telling me that going as fast as you dare into paddock followed by full-bore-powering up to druids and braking as late as you dare isnt one of the biggest thrills at any circuit ?)

Paddock

I was one of those it's only the Indy I'll not bother until I did the GP circuit earlier this year. Paddock & Druids has to be one of the best corner combinations in the country. Paddock's probably my number 1. Awesome, love it, tempted to get the wife a cab from the airport (£70!!!)

Phil_H actually has a good idea, even though it was said in jest. Why not invite the DOC? If we don'tlook like we're going to fill it I can understand why we open up to non-ducati's from club members so why not consider inviting the DOC at that point?

They're all on Ducati's ...

Rob, if you're keen to do the day but don't have a Duc you can use my dd bike.

I'm willing to book this john but only if I can take the track bike. I'm just not willing to take the duke out more than once a year. Sorry.

I think you should also open it up to none members
