Unhappy 95 900ss fuel in crankshaft breather
Having returned to my bike after its winter lay off & having attempted to restart it I've had the following problems. Firstly it will only start with the air filter removed, then when it does run there is a great deal of fuel coming into the air filter box via the crankcase breather.
What are the possible causes of this & how do I go about fixing it?
The bike has done about 60k miles, the barrels were changed around 40k ago with the big bore conversion. Has it just worn out?

Possibly stuck floats in the carbs, when you turn it on the fuel pump could be pumping fuel straight into the engine
