Sick ST2

Following an accident the ST2 was laid up for a year while I rebuilt it. Now thats finished I've had the belts and shims done. I noticed early on it seemed more thirsty than I remembered and also 'farted' quite a bit on throttle roll off.
On the way back from the service (after 15 miles or so) the horizontal cylinder fired erratically , eventually giving up altogether,
Basically , following the service I'm skint so its a diy job, has anyone any suggestions what I should be checking (plugs are both new and ok)?

TIA for any suggestions.

Take it back to whever serviced it and get them to sort it out. Sounds like the FI needs setting up fo a start.

Mood: Bloo and Yellow.. and Red now ;)
Sounds like the throttle position sensor is out, or failing.
Does it run/start OK when cold?

If you left the same fuel in for a year, you may have gummed-up injectors.

Is the bike just winding me up again ..

I could swear it has no engine , just a group of gremlins out for a laugh.

On rechecking a plug was found to be duff (intermittent fault mebbie) but no spark was found at the horiz cylinder plug (a known good one).
I swapped leads over .. no result.
then I swapped ignition coils .. the horizontal cylinder fired .. AND SO DID THE VERTICAL???

Now after putting everything back in its place the problem has disappeared .. no sign of it during a 50 mile ride .

I say again .. its those goddamn gremlins .. I'm sure of it.

Thanks shazamm .. yes I didnt drain the tank completely so it may be gummed injectors .. How would I go about cleaning them ?

Sorry Nelly .. I missed your post,
When the bike is cold (and if both are firing) it starts as normal and runs fine.
