Just got hold of the book titled Demoquattro Performance Handbook, by Ian Falloon Only just got it so not to far through it yet, but initially had a quick skim from front to back and it looks very good and bang up to date.
Also I have just been reading another couple of interesting articles.
The first from a copy of RPM magazine Issue 43, April 7th-20th 1995 it features a write up about the Devimead Ducati, a 916SP road bike modified and raced in the British championship by Ray Stringer.
The Second article was in Motorcycle Racer Magazine Dec98/Jan99 It features a write up on Troy Corsers Factory 996.
Both articles highlight the differences between the standard 916/996 road bike and the race versions of the bike.
Ordered it from Amazon 2 days ago, after seeing the one Dallas came back from America with, thing is it cost me less than what he paid for it in the Seattle Ducati dealership.
Your not wrong there Red, I've had a bit more of a read during this evenings shift and it certainly does contain a hell of a lot of useful info. Also found another interesting write up in issue 56 of RPM magazine from Feb 1996, where they have a in depth write up on Fogarty's 1995 championship winning 955. Its amazing how often weight bias, trail and wheelbase are refered to as they differ so much from your production based models.
