You should be able to swap out the high-pressure 3bar pump for an original SS one without too many problems.
There's been a few conversions on here in DD using 916 tanks, so someone should be able to help.

Thanks for the info. Can I tell by looking down the filler cap if its already been done, as far as I know this engine has been run with these carbs and tank for some time. Although it hasn't been rum for a couple of years.
Been looking through forum, in one post it mentioned a pressure regulator.

Done a bit more reading, not sure the fuel pipes are attached correctly to the tank. Is there a pic / drawing anywhere of the underside of tank?

PayneP ran a 3 bar pump/tank combo on a Class B carby a few years ago at Brands after breaking the front end off his 620 Injected Class A bike and it ran without any problems, although that was only for one day so in everyday use you it might cause a few carb flooding problems

Easiest option would be to change the fuel pressure regulator in the bottom of the pump to a lower pressure item, then any pressure over that from the pump would bleed back to the tank, changing the pump wouldn't hurt but may not be necessary.
maybe some of these items have already been changed

Is the round Held in by circling with webber stamped on it the regulator?
Not near tank / bike at moment can't go check. Could do with looking at at a drawing.
I'm sure it's run like this before, how we'll or bad I have no idea. That's what you get from buying them in a pile of bits.

Really wanna get it mot and ride it this week should look quite good with some sort of clipons. Thanks for your help

That's the one held in place by a circlip, should have the rating on the side of it, if its the original it should have 300 kpa on it (not sure if they marked any as 3bar)

Here's a pic of one - has 300kpa on the side so it's for fuel injected.

If you're using the 916 tank then it's part of the fuel pump assembly, so easy to check underneath:

It's the 300kpa one. Got some pictures ill upload as soon as I've resized them.
How is that plumbed into the fuel pipes? This one has two pipes coming off the in and out to a Y connector then 1 pipe to carb rail. Fuel runs out of the pipes not the regulator.

The pic you sent me, is that quick release push fit into the out and return?
This tank just has male spigots screwed into tank, fuel lines pushed on.
What about the other 2 protrusions? Seen a video on you tube looks like they're linked by a pipe but hard to see. Thanks
