I've seen the future.............

.........and it's definately NOT ORANGE!!!!!

Just been over to Italia Moto in Lincoln to have a look at the 1098. What can I say. Even better in the flesh than the pix, and if it goes as well as it looks, I can see a very rosy future for Ducati.

Overall the bike looks very well finished, only minor observation was that the Ducati decals on the tank and fairing seemed to have a bit of air trapped underneath, probably due to the panic in getting the bikes out to the shops, but otherwise a lovely machine.

This is the bike the 999 series should have been. Ducati definately went the wrong way with that one, and sadly their owners are gonna struggle to get sensible money for them now the true successor has arrived.

Can't wait to see them in race trim, and am even more excited about 1200R now!
