I thought you fell off your bike, not off the sofa

Glad you're on the mend though

Dom your right. Who would have thought the combined impact speed was about 100mph.

I almost feel guilty having come off so lightly.

Still to have an op to remove the plate a 7 screws in the shoulder.
No probs with the rod in the thigh so far.
The severed tendons and artery in the foot have mended ok with just loss of movement in three middle toes.
Bi-cep looks ugly but works. My modelling days are over.
Bruising long gone.
Hope to start physio in a few weeks as my leg has withered away.

See you all

Mr Lucky

Not sure. To be honest some of the enthusiasm for biking had already gone before the accident which was why I was seling up and thinking of getting a supermoto. Hoping it would rekindle the passion so to speak. So for that reason I'm not in a great hurry.

Plenty of mates have bikes so I'll be able to jump on one of those after xmas perhaps just to prove I'm not carrying any baggage.

I'll need a fix of some kind in the future, so we'll have to wait and see.
