010 front ? back
my mate jools was good enough to bung a part worn bridgestone 010 front my way, and am now on the look out for a part worn back to go with it(e-bay).
i'm on a nearly free set of macadams at the moment, fine for these winter months but i don't fancy cadwell on them!
the question is what other bridgestones can i use with this front.
i assume an 020 would be o.k. anything else mix well.

The 010 has been dicontinued by Bridgestone, replaced by the 014. I assume that means an 014 on the back would be OK.
Many people use an 010 Front and an 020 Rear - Paul Psychlist swears by that combo.

PS, do you trust that Jools bloke? The man has a pet rat for goodness sake!

There's nothin' wrong with rodents. I hear their squeaky little voices all the time.

I also have run metzeller mez3 front and 010 rear never had any probs at all.

Ok tyre profiles might be different but for use road users don't realy think we would notice.

Think it's just a reason to sell more tyres.
