This time last year Brancatto Engineering were making a custom built Bellypan/Catch-tray to fit to the 600SS, these contained well nuts that the fairing panels bolted to instead of using the original metal straps to bolt the fairing together underneath.

My Bike although a 600SS has a Monster 600 Engine in it and I found the taller gearing worked best for me 15/42, I did try Lower gearing at most circuits first but with limited practice time I often settled on what I knew would work for me and my riding style.

Brake lines, I get all the bits from Race Parts UK, works out about £11 a line with the discount they give me.
A cheap alternative is a brake line off a RSV Aprilia, very similar to that of a 996 but it T's off at the top end along the centre line of the bottom yoke, so if routed correctly doesn't fall foul of the ACU rule book

1.Gearing. Need new chain and sprockets.Suggestions please regarding standard front and how many rears, stick with standard, change it every round etc.

I going to ran a 14 standard, and 3 rears, a 41, 43 and 45. (1994 600SS)

2.Braided brake lines. Anyone got a good deal anywhere.

got propper ones for my bike for £55 from westerbys just down road from me he orded them in for me so should get same deal at any shop (thats for both) p.s. get some drake fluid that will run at very high temp , higher the better

3 Tyres. Pirelli Diablo but what speed rating is required by the regs.Beleive the choice is noted by R17 or ZR17 for over 130 mph.My bike will do this i,m sure[ especially if it does not lie down and give in to being built nicely ]when i send it off the nearest cliff

As long as they've got Diablo on the side (and no Corsa markings....)

4 Oil catch trays. Where do the available trays fix to on the engine / fairing.Does anyone have any pics.

got mine from mad compersites hes very good and fit very nice. but dont for get to put a hole in it that can be pluged and taken out for wet races. u2u me for details

any thing i can help you with just u2u me and ill try to help

After talking to Senna3 earlier and discussing his bikes lack of speed at Assen we noted down the number of his engine the one that came from his wifes 1994 600 Monster, we came to the conclusion that it is one of the real early engines running the 32/73 primary drive gearing and is therefore a lot differnt to what he was running last year.
Last year Kev used a 14T front with a combination of rears, well this year I think the 14T should be swapped for a 16T and used alongside the standard 15T and the rear sprockets he already has.

As such I have updated the gearing chart for class B bikes as it may be of use to others especially as it looks like we could soon have a few more Class B bikes joining in the FUN.

Now to find out hopw to upload an Excel attachment

This gearing thing is interesting...

I've decided to keep it simple and run all season with 15/40. - '94 600ss

My bike was fast as **** at Cadwell and Assen with this gearing. Other factors do affect it though. I was pulling 9500k in top on Saturday at Assen then only 8000k on the same section into the wind on Sunday.

If it tops out to early get lower gearing.

Not sure people should be messing to much with this....just ride the nuts of the thing!!
