hi m8 and welcome.......Hope you do get on the grid next year its an awesome experience and worth the effort.

cost is dependant on the type of bike you want to run and the state of set up...i guess it can be said as a guide...

600ss standard 1200- 1500
675 (600 with Big bore kit fitted ) 1500- 2000
620ie circa 4k -5k

license easy to obtain an in house training day at Rugby ( ACU House)
Eye test ..simpy done at any opticians

and thats about it ..simple huh....

Race prepping bike ie ..lock wiring etc is fairly easy as is most of the work for scrut.

As a note the rules may change next year..so before making a decision on what bike it may be prudent to wait for the outcome........

Other than that its a great series..the DD lads support each other and the comradre at the meetings is the best.

if i can help further just ask.....

Phil

nige,

if you are thinking about it now i would say definitely do it. its great. i really think it will be very competitive next year. but in a very good way as in there will be plenty of people in the middle order so if you are not up at the sharp end you will have plenty of opportunity to race against others and improve your riding.

as other have said, when you are definitely up for it have a word with any of us and we will be more than happy to help on anything we can.

it may be worth 'registering' your interest with chris bushell as i recon it will be very popular and there may even be a cut off on entries. you never know?

Dont worry I have already been on the U2U, as there are a number of people who are showing interest in joining in the fun for next year. I need to keep an eye on numbers.

1) Come round and have a look at my recent purchase.
2) Make sure you come to brands on the 11th !

Boys & Girls

I will take provisional entries for next year from now onwards and build up a spread sheet.

As already stated preferance will be given to those that have raced this year in at least one round.

The proposed rules for 2006 will be issued towards the end of next week, discussed at Brands and we hope ratified at Cadwell.
