1098R Bayliss Rep - good investment?

Hi

I have an opportunity to buy a mint, low mileage 1098R Bayliss LE.

Do people think that the value of these bikes will go up and therefore be a good investment.

Much as I love the bike it would need to make me money and not lose it.

Thanks

To be honest I don't think you'll ever lose money on a good Ducati if you keep it long enough BUT as with any investment the value can go down as well as up!

5 years ago I sold my 996 - it was a plain old biposta, albeit with some nice pipes and a single seat unit on it.

Prices were rock bottom at the time... but I couldn't afford to buy it back now... I think anything clean, tidy, original, a bit unusual is going to hold it's value / increase. My only thought though, people can ask whatever they want for a bike, but it's only worth that if someone wants it and is prepared to pay...
