Sorry to hear that ... I always thought that sport was unhealthy, you keep hearing of people injuring themselves and losing days off work etc.

Frankly, I'm amazed this nanny state government hasn't already legislated it out of existence "for our own good".

It's a man's game!

I had my shoulder screwed back together last year after tackle gone wrong. But it's the only real injury I got out of that game and I'd played for a few years.

I got more injuries from playing basketball!

It is a stupid game, and I wonder why I bother any more when my body is constantly telling me to quit!

I can't remember a time when I felt 110% physically sound in the last 10 years...even now I'm getting over a really badly turned ankle, that even the radiologist was amazed wasn't broken.

I must have missed months of riding time due to niggling injuries that just make riding a 748/9** to uncomfortable for any amount of time.

So my conclusion...try to get fit for a cup final in 3 weeks

At the moment Tony I don't think I could keep up with you on the monnie and me on the R, the off has hit me for 6, and confidence is all but gone, even on my spin at the weekend it felt like it was going to throw me off again... problem is as it's a new bike to me, is that normal? or is it me?
