CBRs have two bolts on the ignition cover that protrude directly into oil galleries as markrd on the casing with little triangles beside them, as per the rules these need lock-wiring.
Part way through 2003 they started asking us to thread lockwire or a cable-tie through the pivot bolts for the mastercylinder levers, this applied to the standard 916 levers and my Brembo Radial.

K&N oil filters have a built in nut on the end that might be acceptable for drilling - I must get around to asking the question.

Incidentally, has anyone here ever known an oil filter to unscrew, even in a crash? Thats unscrew, not ripped off or punctured?
