Can anyone help me get to Cadwell ???

I looked at the cost of me doing the Cadwell trackday on my 888 and it worked out to £150 for the two days + £350 for trackday body work so I don't wreck rare 888 panels + quite a few quid (£500+) for new leathers, cos the track leathers I have fit fine on my ST but get into more of a crouched position a la 888 and they crush my neck into submission after 2 laps.

All of that = Too expensive, can't do it.

The answer is obvious. Although I would like to track the T8 I'll do it on my ST instead. ST = No worries about binning it and leathers that work OK.

Trouble is the ST is on SORN (it'll change places with the 888 on SORN in October). I don't want to get it MOT'd and taxed just for 2 days so I'll need to trailer it or van it. Has anyone with passing transport got space to give me a lift ???

Worth an ask.

Jools, I'm sharing Chris Woods' Merry Printers van. I'm going to go up to meet him in Northampton on the Sunday. If you don't come up with a better alternative, maybe we could find a way to have your bike in Chris's van and you ride up on the Duchess, which will be in track fairings but is road legal (apart from the number plate - andyb!). I don't want to inconvenience Chris at all but a short blat with both bikes from Ampthill to Northampton and then get yours into the van, maybe? As you know, I am a stickler for the law so I would not want to suggest anything even remotely illegal

About 8 miles south of Bedford. For folks coming from further south, I'm pretty much exactly en-route between the M1 and A1. I've got a few options and just might be sorted but not certain yet, so if anybody is coming anywhere near...

Thanks for the offer of leathers and such, but my own are no problem on the ST and I'll have to do it on that cos of the lack of TD fairings.

Jools, I am hoping to borrow Butch's big box trailer to take the ST4S and TZ up-I am sure your ST would fit as well.
Leathers I cannot help you with-you probably wouldn't have fit in mine when you were 14..................
