Just seen the 1000SDS at my dealer

Looks very nice in red with black wheels carbon belt covers, front fender, bars from the S4r and of course Ohlins forks with black calipers and Ohlins rear shock with hydraulic preload looks very trick

At £8.495 about 1300 more than stock not to much over the top when forks are usually a 1k a pair and shock is about £650!!

i picked my new "S" up last Friday. Love it, had to get rid of my 749s though. But i think this is a bike i will use all the time, not just for a sunday morning blast.

I had an Aprilia RSV R with similar Ohlins forks and i can't fault them, the same applies to the ones on the multistrada, yhey seem leagues ahead of comparable standard forks

Hi Neil,

I got my 748s now but will be looking to a monster or multistrada next for more practicality, glad i got my 748s for the experience always wanted one

U get a red or black one? got any pics? cant seem to find any of the red one on the net.

How tall are you, can you get your feet flat on the floor?

Thanks Neil,

i'm about 5'9"-10" had a standard one for loan bike last year and was a bit high but still get the balls of my feet down both sides, i guess it depends in iinside leg length to mines about 31".

Theres loads of pics of the black one it is nice, but i just love the red one

Cheers

Lee, I'm about an inch shorter than you and when I took a Multi out last year I no trouble at all with the height of it - I don't even remember if my feet were flat or not, probably because it was never a problem, and the riding position makes them very easy to control when stopped (and when moving!)

Superb bikes
