Well .. I don't want to get into an argument with you over this but if the amnesty hasn't been respected, and we're still waiting to find out what happened, then why not use the forum? If they have been kicked out then there's a distinct case of double standards going on so why should we just shut up?

The 18th would have been the place to deal with this issue, I believe, and I'm disappointed that it looks as though that hasn't been the case.

But it wasnt the MT or the RC who ask for the Amnesty!!! it was some of the racers.

so really they dont have double standards..

ok .....

There are two sides to every story and it will be interesting to hear both...until then we are perhaps making a judgment based on heresay conjecture and rumour..not the foundations for a sensible debate.?.....

I mean we dont even know if they are " banned "....maybe instead of CK postin up Butch or MW should.?...at least then its from the horses mouth so to speak.?

So then there's no reason to adhere to the farce it is then.

Fil, I am sorry if you are offended by my post
I merely typed what Butch himself had posted - he had received a letter, and the contents said that his membership was terminated.

I am just upset that 2 close friends are no longer able to race, as they are no longer able to be members. They would not be able to attend this meeting on Sat, as this is only for members.

I dont think this is a 'petty item' or a mere 'trifling issue' and that this is something that some other people from the paddock would want to know.

and asking for 2 sides of a story will as you are very well aware be quite inflamatory.

Leave it as an informational post: that they are no longer in the club.
Leave the questions till sat?

Im not offended at all.........

I dont support either side if there are sides....!!!.......i just want to see a level playing field and all the facts known before we all kick off using half truths etc........Ie did Butch and Mike have an opportunity to appeal...could they have remained members in some way..meet on common ground.???..all these things we dont KNOW...........

gather the FACTS then make an informed comment ..!..

I agree with Phil. It’s very admirable to stick up for friends based on their perception/angle of an event, or set of events.
And any management team wouldn’t hang somebody else’s dirty laundry out for all to see.
Based on the diverse spectrum of the DSC management group I would trust that they have made whatever decision they have made for the good of DSC as a whole, and that any major decision to oust members, if that’s what has happened, wouldn’t have been made lightly.
