Fork seals
How do you take them off?
I've tried with my best flat screwdriver, only managed to slightly mark the fork tube
The seal doesn't want to move at all...

I think . . .
you need a special tool to take em out AND another to put em back in again - should really try and avoid the srewdriver - as that bit of the fork tube sits on the seal - I also think that the seal has a metal ring running through it.
Stand to be corrected!!

Have you picked out the wire retaining ring? It sits in a groove just above the seal.

Yes Nelly, that one came off easily with a small flat screwdriver. Now there is only the seal left I think.
No way I can take it off without the special tools?
