Brands Hatch DD 2011

What a day, good to meet up with every one after a 5 month lay off, sure did not feel like 5 months, to many people to name and a few new faces as well.
With the weather god being kind for the day, it was warm and we bathed in some spring time sunshine for a fair bit of the day.

A lot of folk seemed very nervous as the first race got close, but you would not think it when the lights went out for the first race, with only one minor excursion into the gravel trap, a loss of a chain & one exhaust the marathon 18 laps seemed to fly by.
Some dyno runs done after the race and all was well, although there did seem to be some very tired racers slouched over there bikes in ParcFerme.

Race 2 went very smoothly again, no fallers with a couple of tech problems for a few riders.
Well done to every one

Must say a great well done to my Bruv managing to knock 4 seconds off his last years dry best time , well done bruv

Roll on Mallory.

Great day even if i do ache in places i never knew i could ache this morning the 18 laps seemed to fly by, kind of regret not getting down friday and testing as the first practice lap was over before i got going, 5 laps but over all i was pleased with my times,

was fantastic to see all the old faces again and some of the new ones, i have a feeling this year is going to be a great year for all of us with plenty of personal bests getting left as distant memorys.

and thanks again Chris for helping me with the front suspension, it helped a fair bit. Forgot to add two clicks on the rear tho so will do that and also raise the rear to what it was last year; I dropped it over the winter

off now to write down my ideal lap, gearing and everythings else while still fresh in my mind
