I originally bought this kit for my 748R. when I p/x it for my 996R I asked them to transfer the PFMs onto the 996R. They phoned me to say they wouldnt fit. off set not right. Both bikes had ohlins. How does that work then?
So then Bold, the 748R does have machined backs on the forks, thats why they fitted that bike. How else do i solve the problem?
You can either get some 748/998R Ohlins or get your forks machined at the back of caliper mounts by 5mm or the other option is to get some PFM discs of standard type dish
The problem you have is that your 748R discs have a deeper dish than 996R (5mm) therefore the discs will be to wide and your calipers will be 5mm to far inwards and not to far out- which is what Yeti's spacers would rectify. as stated before there is no spacing options only replacing fork legs/bottoms or maching bottoms or buying correct discs to suit
