A good day in the garage / Rebuild Pt2

I wish I could of gotten all this done in a day but I wanted to try my new camera out and provide and an update...

Still learning about attachments here as well

Pictures:

1) Jaspers P34 calipers; adapter bracket; Ti hardware - Thanks Jasp. Speigler hoses - Iron discs - Correct mounting bolts via Nelly.

2) New BMW Varta battery - fits well but the posts are on the wrong sides, so I decided to extend the cables in the meanwhile. (19Ah).

3) Shazaam! recommended volt-meter; low current drain and looks ok on a 900 dashboard I think.

4) MPL clutch cover and press. plate - stainless springs and bolts - Ti collets - ST4 clutch pack - again from the invaluable Nelly.

5) Next - and introducing; The spaghetti boys.

Sadly, the day ended with me pulling a filling out on a celebration toffee (Every silver cloud has a black lining !!!)

ps - Yes - pic 2 - White Power shock totally blocks access to top right valve cover screw - had to lift the top of the shock out again!

Frank,

Where did you get your pipework from. I need some better pipes for the race bike.

Looking good. Very envious of your spaghetti - have to make do with polishing my headers.

Looking very good there Frank.

Does the voltmeter stay on all the time then? Not sure what you meant by low current drain.

Just a quick thought on a sunny morning - how about an SS/SL meet?

Nice one frank.

I have also been thinking about a SS/SL meet-up and been trying to drum up some support. I wonder if there's enough of us to do it.

Cheers Guy,

twpd - headers came from Sil Moto themselves but, I first became aware of them via their Ebay outlet:

Chi

As Shazaam! mentions (I'll try and find the post) - this baby stays on all the times, its splash proof and only draws a tiny current, 3 milliamps.

A meetup sounds great! - One of the DSC Trackdays maybe? - Even if not riding on the day, it would be a great excuse to meetup and drool over some 2V porn
