Pre bank holiday warning in North Yorks

Spot the Ducati, Its not me.

I thought things were a good bit better in North Yorks this year. Last year it seemed the York press was full of bad accidents every weekend and very often on a Thursday morning after "bike night".

I wonder if this has anything to do with the strength of the £.

Might seem daft, but from experience it is now cheaper to go touring around the UK than to go to France/Germany/Spain etc.

Consequently there are likely to be more bikers heading for the Yorkshire, Borders and Cumbia area.

We've been on 5 weekends in the uk this year compared to just 2 last year, and many people we talk to are doing the same as both petrol and accomodation works out cheaper here now...
